When it comes to McDonald's, many people have their own preferences about the way they eat their food.

For instance, some people love to dip their fries in milkshakes, while others keep it classic, smothering their chips in tomato ketchup.

However, one food fan has caused a stir after sharing the way she likes to use ketchup.

In a post on TikTok, under the name @sensationfoodie, she explained there's ‘tonnes of sugar and lots of red dyes’ in the ketchup so she has mixed up a concoction which has caused so much of a stir, it had to be slapped with a ‘trigger warning’.

In a clip that has left many of her followers thoroughly shaken with horror, she explained: "I always put water in mine so you get double the health for half the price."

This confession is accompanied by a video that one aghast chip lover has described as "the highway to hell".

In this clip, @sensationalfoodie can be seen squirting a hearty dollop of Heinz’ Tomato Ketchup into a small plastic container which she then holds under a running tap, completely diluting the sauce.

The result is a thin, watery substance that will no doubt forever haunt those who can’t abide a soggy chip, the bright red colour dulled to a weak orange.

The self-professed foodie then takes a couple of delicious, innocent McDonald’s chips from a packet and stirs them around in the pot before tucking in. It’s an image that has rendered several of her followers ‘speechless’.

Her video went viral, with one commenter so outraged they threatened to call 999.

A second person begged: “Please tell me this is some kind of joke? Why not just dip your chips in water?”

Another wrote: “What the actual duck! If you’re gonna do that then at least make it vodka for a Bloody Mary dip”.

This isn’t the first time that @sensationalfoodie has wound up her followers with controversial food clips.

Previous videos show the vlogger dipping giant wotsits into whipped cream and microwaving a beverage she describes as ‘the perfect British cuppa tea’, made up of mainly milk and sugar.
