The Beckhams are reportedly planning to split their time between the US and the UK so that Victoria could help son Brooklyn with his cooking career.
Brooklyn, 22, was recently slammed for his cooking segments on the American talk show The Today Show where he 'cooked' up a pre-made breakfast sandwich.
The star began cooking over the coronavirus lockdown, and according to reports, Posh Spice was the one to encourage him to 'get into cookery'.
"Vic is a hands-on mother and she is on a mission to sort out Brooklyn's life now," a source explained. "She feels that she needs to spend more time with him to make his cookery career a success.
"Although the youngest two kids are still at school in the UK, Victoria wants to split the family's time more between there and the US."
"She can't help but micromanage and wants to get Brooklyn on the right track," the insider continued to Heat Magazine.
Mirror have contacted reps for comment.
According to the publication, David thought Brooklyn needed more training while Victoria thinks that he can become a celebrity chef.
However, the Beckhams are usually regularly travelling to the US due to Victoria's beauty business and David's football club Inter Miami CF.
Brooklyn's fiancé Nicola Peltz is also based in America.
Earlier this month, the budding photographer was ridiculed by fans while trying to show off his cooking skills on the cooking show.
The Beckham's eldest child didn't exactly impress viewers with his 'recipe' for an English breakfast sandwich on the American breakfast TV programme.
Despite joining Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Carson Daly for a cooking segment, the young star actually did very little cooking live on-air - and instead assembled a sandwich of pre-cooked meat.
Brooklyn confessed that the recipe for the dish - which consists of bacon, sausage and egg sandwiched between two pieces of bread - is something that has been in his family for generations and that he learned how to cook the butty thanks to his great-grandmother.
Over the last few months, Brooklyn has been sharing clips of his cooking to his Instagram page, with each recipe receiving harsh feedback.
In September, he shared his recipe for Tagliatelle with mussels & crème fraîche.
Italians lost their minds after watching the clip, with many taking to the comment section to tell the star how you're supposed to cook a dish with mussels.
In the clip, Brooklyn can be seen preparing Tagliatelle with mussels & crème fraîche - first dicing a potato, onions, garlic some herbs before taking to the heat and combining the ingredients on the stove.
However, the addition of onions and crème fraîche is what got to people.
"Noooooo butter and various sauces in mussels no! Only oil and parsley and chilli," a user said.
Another Italian user commented: "He is convinced he knows how to cook oh, he doesn't give up."
One joked: "Every time you cook an Italian chef dies."
