With the holiday season fast approaching, Trader Joe's is busting out all of its yummy seasonal goodies. In previous years, Trader Joe's has showered customers with products like a cozy wintry blend coffee and fun winter baton cookies, as well as a wassail punch and the fan-favorite Dark Chocolate Orange.

This year, in addition to bringing back old favorites, Trader Joe's is offering countless new seasonal snacks. Per Restaurant Clicks, some of these snacks include Peppermint Pretzel Slims, a truffle dip, oat milk O'Nog, butternut squash ravioli, and cocoa chile-spiced pecans. Sounds good, right?

However, one seasonal treat, in particular, has gone viral on Instagram. You guessed it, we're talking about Trader Joe's Candy Cane Joe-Joe's ice cream – a chocolate, vanilla, and peppermint dream. But unlike other years, when shoppers went nuts over this flavor, Instagram is now unsure just how excited it is to see this ice cream return to store shelves.

Instagram account Trader Joe's List recently posted about the return of the Candy Cane Joe-Joe's ice cream. In their caption, they described the ice cream as "so satisfying," and added that "your taste buds will not complain!" Well, maybe your taste buds won't complain, but Trader Joe's shoppers certainly will.

Quite a few Instagram users voiced excitement, with one person commenting, "Now this is my favorite time of TJ's year," and another saying, "So addictive." Someone else wrote, "[This is] my absolute favorite ice cream they make." However, many people were less than interested.

In these cases, it wasn't that people didn't like the Candy Cane Joe-Joe's ice cream, it was just that they wanted other options. One person complained that the maple ice cream should've been sold for a longer period of time. They wrote, "Maple is a fall flavor... It's not even Thanksgiving." Others inquired about non-chocolate, oat milk, or gluten-free ice cream options. Hey, we can't fault people for wanting a variety of sweet treats to choose from.
