Fast food chain McDonald's has kicked off a brand new promotion to give customers something to look forward to each week.

'McDonald's Monday' is a new series of weekly deals, offering popular menu items for a fraction of their original price each Monday, but the offers will only appear on the My McDonald's app.

The promotion begins today with McDonald’s offering customers the McChicken Sandwich for just 99p.

The usual price for a McChicken Sandwich is £3.49, which means you can save £2.50 with the offer.

A McChicken Sandwich features crispy coated chicken, lettuce and McDonald’s sandwich sauce in a soft, sesame-topped bun.

To get the offer, simply download the app on Google Pay or the App Store and order a McChicken Sandwich for 99p. The bargain is only available today (Monday, February 22).

McDonald’s restaurants are currently closed for dine-in and walk-in takeaway, but customers can still order via the Drive-thru, McDelivery and Click & Serve using the My McDonald’s App.
