Over 30 years ago, we opened our first store in Bath, a World Heritage site in Somerset, the home of Cheddar.
From the beginning, cheese was at the heart of our business. That is why we are called The Fine Cheese Co. We have always been selectors and affineurs of the best artisanal British and European cheese.
Our motto: ‘Seek out the best, and, when you have found it, keep looking’. Over time our business has grown to some 1200 wholesale customers in the UK (including stores like Harrod’s and Fortnum & Mason, and hotels like Claridge’s), and to over 60 countries.
