As a municipal demonstration cooperative, the cooperative focuses on the purification and rejuvenation planting experiments of glutinous rice yam seeds, variety research and development, and demonstration and promotion. Cooperate with the Wenzhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences to optimize the seed resources of glutinous rice yam and unify aseptic seedlings; promote the cultivation of glutinous rice yam in the county, and provide up to 300,000 seeds and seedlings to the county every year. At present, the area of yam planting in the county has reached More than 8,000 mu of farmland; organized planting technology training for farmers in the county many times, and provided technical services for planting farmers. The cooperative adopts the "base + farmer + order planting" model to ensure the low price of glutinous rice yam from farmers and sell it uniformly, with an annual sales volume of 400,000 kilograms. The products sell well at home and abroad. From 2018 to 2020, they won the Gold Award for High-quality Products at the Provincial Agricultural Expo for three consecutive years. In 2019, they were included in Wenzhou City as "Ouyue Fresh Front" high-quality agricultural products.
