Morrisons launch three Afternoon Tea boxes to celebrate National Cream Tea Day

If you didn’t already know, the June 25th is National Cream Tea Day - and Morrisons are helping customers celebrate in style by creating three Afternoon Tea boxes to enjoy at home. How good that?

As if we needed an excuse to indulge in a luxurious Afternoon Tea…

For a hassle-free treat this weekend, customers can order the Afternoon Tea box online for £20, and have it delivered straight to their door the next working day, or choose a day to suit them.

The box feeds up to four people and includes products from The Best range including scones, crisps, jam, lemonade, Rodda’s classic clotted cream and plenty of cakes and sweet treats.

Our stomach is rumbling at the thought...

Customers can also choose to upgrade to prosecco (£5 extra) or champagne (£17 extra) for a luxury experience at home.

What’s more, for every box sold between the 17th June and 5th July, Morrisons will donate £1 to NHS Charities Together in support of the NHS Big Tea on the 5th July.

Morrisons customers can also pick up an Afternoon Tea for one, priced at just £6 or for two, priced at £12 in-store at the Market Street counters.

To be sure of availability, customers are advised to pre-order their platters on Morrisons Food to Order website and collect in store.

Each platter contains a selection of sandwiches, pork pies, fruit scones, clotted cream, jam and cakes, all to be washed down with a classic cup of Yorkshire Tea.
